Suvi and Tom

We have worked in many hotel kitchens in Helsinki for several years. Tom worked as a F&B Manager for Scandic Hotels in Helsinki, and Suvi worked as a chef de cuisine in Scandic Hotel Marski. Nevertheless, in 2007 we decided to become entrepreneurs in Rauma and began operating a small hotel and restaurant in the lighthouse of Kylmäpihlaja. Unfortunately, Kylmäpihlaja wasn't able to fulfill our dream of living in the Finnish archipelago as it wasn't possible to live there all year round. So, we moved and bought an estate in Iniö called Erkas Gården. It was the first Bed & Breakfast startup in Iniö in the 80's. However the lack of ferries passing between the mainland and Iniö as well as the shortage of roads left Erkas Gården isolated. Ever since we have been running Erkas Gården for the past few years, the situation has completely changed for the better. 

 

Lunch

We serve fish soup daily from 12 to 15 o´clock.

Soup lunch includes bread and butter, water, tea and coffee.
